There are six modules in this course:

Module One: The legal profession encompasses the qualification as a Solicitor, the invaluable support provided by the Law Society of Scotland, the integral role of support staff such as legal secretaries and administrators. It also involves an understanding of how laws are made, the structure of Scottish courts, effective forms of communication, legal document layout, and the importance of maintaining accurate financial records.

Module Two: Explore the fundamentals of criminal law and criminal procedure, including attendance notes, statements of the accused, witness letters and statements. Delve into the intricacies of trials, judgements, and even learn how to prepare an invoice. Enhance your understanding with this comprehensive guide.

Module Three: Learn the fundamental aspects of wills, such as will preparation, codicils, power of attorney, rules of intestacy, initial writ, grant of confirmation, beneficiary correspondence, and executry accounts. Enhance your understanding with refined word choice, improved structure, enhanced readability, and eloquence, while preserving the original meaning.

Module Four: Civil litigation encompasses various stages and procedures, including the introduction, letter before action, summary cause summons, serving the summons, defences, a record, a motion, and the court of session.

Module Five: This module provides an overview of family law, covering the fundamental divorce process. It includes a comprehensive divorce instruction form, initial writ, notice of intention to defend, necessary adjustments, affidavits, and child welfare hearings.

Module Six: Learn the essentials of conveyancing, including the land register, property sales, stages in a conveyancing transaction, advance notices, property enquiry certificates, settlement statements, and the final completion process.
