You will learn valuable manual and computerised book-keeping skills, together with the knowledge of using a spreadsheet program – skills which are in demand by virtually every organisation or firm in the private and public sectors. With your completed diploma you will have a solid platform and all the confidence you need to take your career to the next level.
With budgets tight, businesses are on the lookout for people who have a broad knowledge of book-keeping and accounting, as well as a great understanding of industry standard Software used in nearly every business across the UK. With your Foundation in Book-keeping Diploma you will learn the essential skills you need to get a great job, including book-keeping, Sage 50 Accounts, and Microsoft Excel.
On successful Completion of the diploma, plus IAB practice papers, students will be eligible to take the IAB Level 2 Certificate in Book-keeping or the OCR Certificate in Accounting Level 2.
