DESCRIPTION:Using Excel Macros can speed up work and save you a lot of time\, increasing productivity!\nIn this ‘Deep Dive’ into the topic\, we will devote the full day to exploring Macros and how they are used in Excel. We recommend that you have a basic to intermediate understanding of Microsoft Excel.\nIn this course\, participants will be introduced to Excel macros and then develop a deeper understanding of advanced and custom macros including an introduction to VB (Visual Basic) coding for macros \nWhat you will learn: \n\nIntroduction to macros\nHow to use the macro recorder\nSave your file with support for macros\nUsing absolute versus relative cell referencing when recording\nUsing absolute AND relative cell referencing when recording\nRun a macro from a button you create\nUse keyboard shortcuts to navigate during recording to get the correct result\nApply macros to different sized data sets\nAdd macro to Excel menu tabs\nIntroduction to the VBA Editor\nAdd IF condition to macro VBA code\nAdd Loop to macro VBA code\nIntroduction to debugging VBA code\nCopy macros between workbooks\nDuration: 1 Day \nThis course is delivered on our open schedules in Edinburgh and Glasgow We can also deliver this workshop via a virtual classroom over two half sessions\, using Zoom or Teams.
