Connect to and visualise multiple data sources and deliver scalable\, enterprise-level business intelligence (BI) that’s easy to use and helps promote deeper insights into corporate data. \n  \nAttending this workshop will provide: \n\nA history of Microsoft’s BI Development\nAn understanding of licensing and sharing implications\nA description of Microsoft’s Power Tools Ecosystem\nAn understanding of BI Terminology and Architecture\nAn introduction to data modelling\nDate and Time – based analysis using calendars\nA comparison between Excel and Power BI Desktop\nDetails on the importance of Power Query\nAn overview of Power Query\nA working knowledge of Power BI Desktop\nThe means to produce your first report and dashboard\nDetails on the various security mechanisms available\n\nPlease note: \n\nIn this course\, participants will perform practical use-case learning exercises to to confidently develop and style their own Power BI dashboards and manage\, analyse and transform data\nAttending this course will require learners to have a basic knowledge of Microsoft Power BI and an understanding of Microsoft Office 365 is recommended.
