Speed Writing Seminar

The Speed Writing Seminar training course is available at the Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen and Inverness Pitman Training Centres.

Based on the BakerWrite system our expert will teach you how to increase your ability to write up to 40 wpm.  We found that delegates attending our Meetings and Minutes course were asking how to increase their note taking speed. We responded to this need by developing a one day course to introduce the speed writing theory.

Speed writing is learnt gradually and we will show you how to introduce speedwriting into your everyday life. With continued practice you will master minute taking.

Course Duration: 1 Day plus 10 hours flexi-study

The system used is based on the BakerWrite system.  You will be taught about:

  • Silent letters and vowels
  • Phonetics and Prefixes
  • Dictation
  • Subscript and superscript
  • Suffixes

Upon successful completion of this one day workshop and practice you will be able to:

SpeedWrite and gain a minimum speed of 40 wpm
